just wanted to share a new render of the Toledo chair by Jorge Pensi. modeled in max rendered in vray, about 1.5 hr render time @ 1600x1300, some post work in photoshop. the concrete texture is from a picture that i took of Ando's pavilion at vitra when i visited Germany in november. i think this will be the first in a series of furniture related render experiments.

The strange thing is this isn't the first time I've featured a render of chairs as a DD. What is it about static furniture that's just so nice to look at? I think the answer is in this piece somewhere. toledo chair by ~spoudastis (Featured by `smashmethod)

oh yeah and i gave up c4d i started learning maya a couple weeks ago its pretty tough.

hey whats up, i have been pretty busy of late working on my thesis project but managed some time for this. so what made you switch from c4d to maya, i have never used it myself so i dont really know the benifits. take care, looking forward to seeing some of your new stuff.
